Center for Ethics & Leadership Speakers Series--Emily Dixon: Ethics in the DA's Office

The Center for Ethics and Leadership invites students, faculty, staff and alumni to hear Emily Dixon '11, Tarrant County Assistant District Attorney, speak about ethics in the DA's office.  A prosecutor's job is defined by Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Art. 2.01 which states that "…it shall be the primary duty of all prosecuting attorneys not to convict, but to see that justice is done…" Dixon will focus on what "seeing that justice is done" means and the ethical concerns prosecutors face in their jobs.

Cost: Free and open to the St. Edward's and Austin communities
